Downgrade to Water Safety Statement

SNC advises that the Flood Outlook Statement of April 11th is being downgraded to a Water Safety Statement. Water levels and flows have declined throughout the week and remain stable. Weather Forecast: Environment Canada is forecasting approximately 25 mm of rainfall over the next week, with 10 mm forecasted for Saturday and an additional 15 mm forecasted for Monday. Above zero temperatures are forecasted for most of the week with daytime temperatures ranging between 0 and 20 degrees Celsius. Read more

Flood Outlook — Lower Ottawa River

This Flood Outlook Statement is an update to the Flood Outlook Statement issued for areas along the Lower Ottawa River (Arnprior to Hawkesbury) on March 19th, 2025. Water levels and flows have generally stabilized in all locations along the main stretch of the Ottawa River. With the return of warmer temperatures this weekend and forecasted rainfall, water levels and flows are expected to increase due to snow melt combined with rainfall runoff. Read more

Downgrade to Flood Outlook

SNC advises that the Flood Watch Statement of April 4th is being downgraded to a Flood Outlook. Water levels and flows have declined however, they remain elevated due to saturated soils and ongoing spring conditions. Weather Forecast: Environment Canada is forecasting less than 10 mm of rainfall over the next week. Above zero temperatures are forecasted for most of the week with daytime temperatures ranging between 0 and 16 degrees Celsius.  Read more
