Who? Open to students of all ages and members of the public.
What? Learn all about maple syrup from its discovery to modern day production! A two-hour maple syrup education adventure of hands-on and co-operative experiences, the program focuses on how maple syrup is produced today and in the 18th and 19th centuries. Minimum number in a group is 15 participants.
When? Tours are taking place at Sand Road Maple Farm from March 3 to April 3, 2015 (Note: Due to popular demand, the programming season was extended to April 10, 2015!)
Cost? $6.00 per person which includes the tour and a maple treat (pancake meals are also available starting at $4.50 per person). We offer bussing subsidies of up to $150 per school (first come, first serve with preference given to schools in SNC's jurisdiction).
